Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for people who are interested in helping out. There are two ways you can contribute:

• Serve on a committee
• Work directly with corpmembers on community projects

Committee Work

We have four committees:

• Fund Development and Marketing - Participate in a variety of marketing, editing, solicitation, development, event planning and other hands-on activities.  This committee meets once per month. Average estimated time requirement is 5-10hrs per month.
• Governance - Shape the operating policies and procedures of the Corps and the board. This committee meets once per month. Average estimated time requirement is 5-10hrs per month.
• Finance - Review and provide guidance on the the Corps financial statements. Accounting or finanical experience preferred. This committee meets once per month. Average estimated time requirement is 5-10hrs per month.
• Programs - Review and advise on Corps programs, projects and initiatives. This committee meets once per month. Average estimated time requirement is 5-10hrs per month.

Work with the corpsmembers

There are a variety of work opportunities for individuals or groups to participate in, including:

• Construction
• Landscaping
• Environmental clean-up
• Art instruction

This is a great opportunity for corporate teams to build teamwork skills while contributing to the community.
